Hero car park attendant saves dogs from near death

Two dogs escaped near death after a Southport traffic warden saved it from a boiling hot car.

The warden along with two Sainsbury’s staff members were forced to break into a woman’s car after she left her dog inside it while shopping.

The windows were not opened and the dog was in visible distress before it was rescued.

The woman owner was spoken to by police officers who were also called to the scene and she was given a warning about leaving her pet in a hot car.

The dogs, described as collie cross breeds, were confiscated by police offers over concerned for their care.
