WWG OTS News Southport will

New research carried out on behalf of the UK’s second largest Will writing company has revealed that 55,200 adults in Southport do not have a will. FreeWills.co.uk is offering all adults in the town the opportunity to create a free will online to try and address this crazy situation.

FreeWills.co.uk Managing Director Carl Christensen says, “Our mission is to provide an easy way for every British adult to make a personalised will, for free. We are here to help people make sure that their family and friends, and the charities they care about, are looked after.”

“95% of people have relatively straightforward affairs, and we have made it as easy as possible for them to create a Will for free online. Our comprehensive bespoke online Will writing service enables people to create their fully legal Wills from the comfort of their own home. There is simply no need to arrange to visit an expensive solicitor in a stuffy office these days.”

St Helen’s born Alex Harris who works at FreeWills says, “Excuses such as ‘I’ll do it later’, ‘It’s too expensive’, ‘I’ve got nothing to leave’ or ‘I don’t know how to go about it’ are often quoted as to why people don’t have a Will, but people run serious risks by not having a will, often causing turmoil and distress for those, usually family members, who have to sort out the estate and second guess their loved one’s wishes, after they have gone.”

“The coronavirus has prompted many people to get their Wills written. A Will is such an important document and everyone should have one and our online service makes it so easy for them to do so – there are simply no excuses anymore.”
