Hawkshead Street closed after nasty smash

Hawkshead Street is currently closed to traffic due to a nasty car accident.

Two vehicles collided on Hawkshead Street shortly after 3pm today after a driver lost control of their vehicle on the slippery carriageway.

Its thought heavy rain, combined with a driver having to slam on, caused the loss of control leading to the collision.

Emergency services are currently on scene. OTS News understands there are no serious injuries.
