Haunted Gothic street to be built in Southport for next week’s Spooky Southport

18th October 2019

Next week sees Southport BID’s Trick or Treat Street appear in Town Hall Gardens.  This exciting and unique attraction is part of the BID’s annual Halloween Festival

The purpose built, hyper real gothic Street dressed with pumpkins and crooked fences will be created in the town centre.   Visitors and families will be able to cross picket fenced lawns to knock on life size doors and windows. Behind each, a character will be lying in wait to either offer up a treat or to trick Halloween loving visitors, and here is a sneaky peak of the computer mock ups of this unique one of a kind installation.

This is the fifth year for the BID’s annual Halloween Festival, Spooky Southport, all funded by local businesses.  Last year’s haunted maze and Halloween themed pop up performances saw thousand’s visit the town centre over the half term to enjoy the interactive events on offer. The four day festival will see a few extra pop up surprises along the way with great events and offers put on by businesses throughout Southport town centre.

The event is running from Saturday the 26th October until Tuesday the 29th.  The street is free to visit and suitable for all ages (with under eight’s at the parents discretion).  For more follow @spookysouthport on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram
