The group of 15 students from Southport are fund-raising and raising awareness for The Dancing Eye Syndrome Trust as part of a 4 week NCS course.
In order to raise money they are holding a stall outside Southport market next Tuesday where they will be selling cakes and face painting. In addition they will be doing a sponsored walk on Thursday 13th August from Liverpool City Centre to Alder Hey, where they will be donating toys to the Hospital.
One of the group members, India, said: “The cause we have selected is The Dancing Eye Syndrome Trust, one which we feel is very close to home, the trust helps both the person who is suffering from the condition and their family, however they receive little funding so treatment research cannot be carried out.”
