Dozens of Goldwing motorbikes have decended in Southport today (Friday 21st September 2012) ahead of tomorrow’s Goldwing Light Parade.

The most famous and longest-running annual GoldWing Light Parade in the UK will take place on the evening of Saturday September 22nd 2012.

Leaving Pleasureland on the Esplanade at 7.30pm, travelling North (under Police escort) along the Promenade to Leicester Street, down onto Lord Street, then along Duke Street, Victoria Way, Esplanade and then a second lap. The parade will finish at the Prince of Wales Hotel on Lord Street for a static light display, judging and trophies awarded for the best lit bikes and a performance by fantastic female duo “Trouble”

There will also be a Goldwings static display on Saturday from 10am – 4pm and a ride out in the stunning Lancashire countryside on Sunday 23 September.
