Gin loving volunteers required to select Southport Gin.
There’s a Gin festival coming to Southport and we need volunteers to select is very own Gin.
Remedy, Southport is hosting the Southport Gin Festival on the 9th to 11th June. Tickets have already sold out for the Friday and Saturday sessions and there are a few left for the Sunday one.
If you have not been able to get a ticket, don’t worry as there is another way you can participate. Birckdale Craft Distillery is teaming up with Remedy to supply them with their very own Southport Gin Festival, Limited Edition Gin. Only 100 bottles will be made in the 70cc and 20cc sizes and will be sold at Remedy and through other outlets until they are gone.
The Southport Gin Festival is already full of events, tastings and live acts, so the tasting will take place beforehand at 6.30 pm on the 30th May in Remedy, 112 Lord Street, Southport, PR8 1DH
As with previous local Gins we want your help to select between 5 blends of gin to choose the one that will become this limited edition Gin. If interested, please Sarah or Susannah at through their Facebook page, call into the bar or e-mail to info@remedysouthport.co.uk.
The event will be limited to 30 tasters and based on previous experience will be fully subscribed very rapidly so do not delay.
The event will be free, but donations will be invited for donations to charity along with the proceeds of the first bottle, which will be auctioned off on the night. To date, £1,760 has been raised for ParkinsonsUK.
