Get on court for free at Southbank Tennis Club!

As part of the LTA’s Great British Tennis Weekend initiative, Southbank Tennis Club is holding an Open Day on Sunday 13th May from 2 – 4pm. The club is situated at the Rookery Sports Ground on Roe Lane.

Try out tennis at our friendly, family-orientated club with 5 all weather courts, 2 of them floodlit. Adults and children are welcome and rackets and balls will be provided. Have a hit on the courts, try out our ball machine or use our speed radar to see how fast you can serve. There will be activities for kids with everything provided for mini tennis.

The Open Day offers fun for all the family, including those who fancy trying tennis for the first time. Refreshments will be provided. Meet our members and have a chat over a cuppa in our clubhouse!

The club has four teams in the Southport and District Tennis League and a well established Junior and Adult coaching programme provided by an LTA qualified coach.
