Gary Wilson loses jail appeal over Kenny Dalglish grenade
A gangster involved in a reign of terror ocross Merseyside which saw a hand-grenade planted on the garden wall outside Liverpool FC legend Kenny Dalglish’s home in Selworthy Road, Southport, has lost an appeal against his life sentence.
Wilson was jailed for life at Woolwich Crown Court in 2012 after he admitted possessing firearms and causing criminal damage with intent to endanger life. The 30-year-old was one of five men jailed for life over a violent campaign of gun and grenade attacks in the area.
Wilson failed to convince top judges that his lawyers were to blame for his sentence.
