Garden Volunteers needed on Rotten Row on Tue, 5 May 2015

The Friends of Rotten Row meet at Park Lodge Greenhouses and provide light gardening activity on the famous herbaceous border along Rotten Row. All tools are supplied and the session starts at 10am.

The Friends of Rotten Row is a group of volunteers dedicated to the upkeep of the magnificent borders of Rotten Row, Southport. Helpers of all ages get together three times a week, to keep the plants and the borders looking looking beautiful…

This year we entered The North West in Bloom Award for the third year running, our expectations were hopeful that we would again achieve a Level 5 Outstanding. Our dreams were excelled by not only achieving a Level 5 Outstanding but also the top two awards of :

“The City of Liverpool Best Community Award” and the top honour of the “North West in Bloom Trophy for the Most Outstanding Achievement Award”.

This is due to all the hard work and time that our volunteers have put in over the last 3 years. Why not come along and join a winning team of volunteers.
