Furious Debenham’s staff hit back over closure reports

Debenham’s staff have hit back over claims that the store is about to close stating that business is booming. It’s widely known that the iconic store is suffering major setbacks nationally but staff insist that locally it’s doing as well as ever and business is on the up.

One member of staff that wanted to remain anonymous said, “I’m furious that people think we’re closing. The sun is out, the store is busy and we’re making deals to beat Beales!”
