Fundraiser helps youngsters after double bike theft

Two boys are hoping to raise £600 from the kindness of strangers after their bikes were stolen during a horrible assault.

Jodie Zeniou has launched a Facebook based appeal to get kind hearted strangers to part with their cash to fund two brand new bikes for her friends two boys after they were attacked and had their bikes stolen last week.

Jodie said “Last week my friends son and his friend (aged 12) were on their way home from school when two older boys in broad daylight assaulted them and took their bikes away from them.

“This has understandably shook them up and knocked their confidence. Let’s raise money as a community not only to replace both their bikes but restore their faith in the public community!”
