Free Tennis Coaching at Club Open Day

Southbank Lawn Tennis Club at the Rookery Sports Ground in Roe Lane is holding an Open Day on Saturday 25th March 2017 from 2 – 4pm.

Free taster coaching sessions will be on offer or just come and have a hit on the courts. Adults and children aged 3+ are welcome and all equipment will be provided, just bring your own trainers! Refreshments will be available.

Southbank LTC is an LTA TennisMark accredited club and was founded over a hundred years ago. Originally based on land off Scarisbrick New Road, the club moved to its new, improved location in Roe Lane some ten years ago. Facilities include five artificial grass courts, 2 of them floodlit, and an extended and refurbished clubhouse. Southbank LTC is a very family-orientated club and a warm welcome is extended to all age groups and playing abilities.

The club has four teams in the Southport and District League and a well established Junior (age groups from 3 to 10+) and Adult coaching programme provided by an LTA qualified, licensed (DCA Level 3) coach.
