From tomorrow, charges will be imposed on drivers at Marshside’s RSPB car park. It is believed that the new parking fees will only apply to non-members of the society.

RSPB salary band for the chief executive role was apparently between £131,309 and £175,879. The charity’s accounts for the year to the end of March 2018 show that total benefits received by the charity’s chief executive, including employer pension contribution and national insurance, were £145,683 in 2017/18.

Residents have freely enjoyed the coastal area parking spot for a number of years. The new and unpopular parking charges have upset many people.

RSPB versus Songbird Survival

Annual RSPB membership for one to two adults costs £60.00. Family membership for 1-2 adults and up to 5 children will cost you £72.00.

However, the excellent SONGBIRD SURVIVAL group costs only £20.00 per year to join for individuals or family membership is just £30.00.
