Shoppers in Southport have showered a town centre supermarket with praise for allowing people to park in its car park for free for two hours
Sainsburys superstore on Lord Street has extended its free parking offer from 30 minutes to an impressive two hours without charge to help boost the shop’s fortunes.
OTS readers have reacted with delight to the changes and have praised the supermarket bosses for their decision
One shopper, Alan Myholme, wrote to OTS to say “it was fantastic when I pulled up to do the big shop and found out I wasn’t on a short timer.
“I went for a walk too down Lord Street and popped to the bank and a few other shops which I wouldn’t have been able to do if it was only 30 minutes.”
