Birkdale Craft Distillery wants your help to decide whether to add Black Sambuca to the range.
If you are a lover of aniseed and liquorice then Black Sambuca may be the drink for you. It looks black, but the drink is actually a deep rich purple, almost amethyst that you can only see by holding up to the light. The colour is quite mesmorising.
Its sweet, rich and very, very aniseedy, with an undercurrent of liquorice. Its not everyones’ choice: – you will either love it or hate it.
To help decide whether there is a demand for it, the Wine Rack, Birkdale has a test bottle for customers to try.
Pop in for a free taste and give them your opinion. Stock is limited and when its gone, its gone, so don’t delay.
