Four males make off from stolen vehicle in Birkdale

At approximately 9:15 pm this evening officers responded to a report of four males acting suspiciously in the area of Trafalgar Road, Birkdale.

Upon the arrival of patrols the males made off on foot, initially pursued by officers but were lost in the area. Further enquiries linked the males to a vehicle park nearby by.

The vehicle a White VW Golf GTI was checked via the Police National Computer and confirmed to be an outstanding vehicle from a Burglary which occurred in Denbigh on 8th March 2019.

The vehicle was seized and preserved for forensic recovery. Enquiries remain on going to identify the males and any significant updates will be reported upon in the future.
