Formby Bypass is currently at a standstill after a horrific crash near to the BP Petrol station in Formby.
Multiple cars collided as they left the roundabout in the direction of Ainsdale with one car ending up colliding with the central reservation.
Fire crews police and paramedics have rushed to the scene and have currently closed off the road while an emergency rescue is carried out.
