One of the UK’s leading medical negligence and serious injury law firms, Fletchers Solicitors, has bolstered its team with the appointment of a senior clinical negligence lawyer.

With over 14 years’ experience in clinical negligence litigation, Sue Taylor joins the firm from Manchester solicitors JMW where she was employed for seven years as a senior associate. Prior to this, Sue was an associate at Alexander Harris.

Sue will have a supervisory role within the 20-strong specialist medical negligence team and will be responsible for overseeing the growing list of clients seeking expert legal support from the firm.

Commenting on her appointment, Sue Taylor said: “I am looking forward to working alongside Fletchers’ highly specialised team and contributing to the firm’s success. I am committed to achieving a 100 per cent success rate for all of our clients and I am thrilled to be joining a team that truly supports its clients during what is for many a challenging time.”

Following a significant increase in the number of medical negligence cases it receives, the Southport firm now handles 1 in every 15 medical negligence cases in the UK. Ed Fletcher, CEO of Fletchers Solicitors, said: “To support our continuing growth, we’re investing in high quality talent to ensure we provide the best possible service to our clients. Sue’s wealth of expertise in representing clients who have suffered from negligent care adds to our high quality offering. It’s an exciting time for the business at the moment and it’s fantastic to see it continue to expand.”
