A man was arrested on suspicion of drink driving at 9:30pm, Friday 23 January 2015. The driver of a silver Ford Focus crashed into a fence between Hesketh Road and Marshside Road.
No other vehicles were involved. According to a witness the driver was aggressive and tried to leave scene but the he was apprehended by an ex policeman until police arrived on scene.
