Fleetwood Hesketh Under 11’s Football trial (Sunday 26 May).
On Sunday 26th May, at Meols Cop playing field between 1-3pm; the brand new Fleetwood Hesketh under 11 football team will be holding a trial in the hope of finding some new players for our team.
Shaun McKiernan told OTS News: “I have recently taken over the team and I am looking to build a strong, united group of players who are looking to further their footballing abilities at one of the best clubs in Southport. As a member of our team the children will have access to the fantastic facilities we have to offer for training and matches, as well as the opportunity to play football in the Central Lancashire League. Due to the high standard of the teams in the league, it is littered with professional scouts, which makes this a great opportunity to further your child’s playing career.”
“On Sunday we will be running a two hour session that will be a combination of basic training drills and small sided matches. This will give us the opportunity to assess the Children’s strengths and weaknesses in the game, and also the opportunity for the children to get to know me and the other coaches before we start a successful journey together. The session is completely free, so I urge you to come and enjoy the football whether you are already signed on with a team or not. Everybody is welcome.”
