Fisticuffs and Cufflinks is back for it’s 7th year running

Christmas is fast approaching; which also means Southport’s most popular white-collar boxing event “Fisticuffs and Cufflinks” is back for it’s 7th year running.

Hosted by Capital FM’s Baz Todd, the event originated in 2012 and is organsied in memory of Carl Horan a local Southport businessman, each year “Fisticuffs and Cufflinks” has repeatedly been a sell out.

Each year Fisticuffs & Cufflinks supports local charities with the aim of raising as much money as possible on the night. After much consideration, the 2018 chosen  charity is Rainbow House.  Rainbow House is an amazing charity who’s aim is to help children, young people and adults with neurological conditions such a cerebral palsy, brain injuries, strokes, MS and genetic conditions via Conductive Education (CE). Rainbow House teaches skills to empower the person to lead a more active and independent life. The aim is to help each individual achieve their full potential.

Sponsored once again by Fireguard Developments Ltd and EEC Home Improvements Ltd “Fisticuffs and Cufflinks” will return on Friday 7th December 2018 at the Southport Theatre & Convention Centre, Promenade, Southport. The event is a sell out event every year so we advise to purchase your tickets early to avoid disappointment.

This is also the year of lucky 7’s for Fisticuff & Cufflinks – as it’s the events 7th year being held on the 7th December (at 7pm) and we expect there to be 7 bouts of individuals getting into the ring to raise money for charity. As always the event caters for everyone (even those who don’t enjoy boxing but love the glamorous atmosphere) there will also be plenty of fundraising elements including a raffle and a few surprise celebrity guests.

Every year amateur boxers train for several months before entering the ring to test their skills, secure your tickets soon to show support for each one of the boxers and not only enjoy an excellent night out to be enjoyed with work colleagues, family and friends but to also to raise money for an amazing charity.

Get your tickets before they sell out! Go onto the Fisticuffs & Cufflinks Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/fisticuffsandcufflinks). Tickets are £35 for seating and £50 for dining with a 3-course meal provided.

We look forward to seeing you there!
