Emergency services have closed off Kensington Road in Southport following a horrific car smash.
The red hatchback struck another vehicle at the junction of Kensington Road and Mornington Road shortly after 5.30pm this evening.
It’s thought the driver may have lost control of their car before it flipped over.
Fire crews have had to use the jaws of life on the car and the occupants are now being treated by paramedics for their injuries before being transferred to hospital
