Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service was called to Banks allotments this evening following a call from the public at around 7pm, Friday 17 April 2015.
An Aveling Drive resident quoted:
“The fire was becoming dangerously close to the houses”.
Two appliance attended the scene.
Fire fighters quickly extinguished the fire and made the area safe”.
