Fire-fighters return to False fire alarm Lord Street Southport

Fire-fighters returned to Lord Street, Southport, at approximately 3:15pm this afternoon (Sunday 22nd September 2013) for the second time after an automatic fire & intruder alarm was activated at a Bank.

They arrived on scene within minutes and searched the outside of the building again looking for intruders or any signs of a fire.

They couldn’t find any signs of fire or intruders but there was smoke bellowing out of a intruder alarm fire bank in the alleyway between Barclays Bank and John Duncans shop.

Fire-fighters remain on scene.
