Final night of the 2015 Southport Santa Sleigh

    By COMMUNITY CONTRIBUTOR17th December 2015

For the past two weeks, the volunteers from Southport Hesketh Round Table have been giving up their time to accompany Santa around the streets of Southport, bringing some much needed Christmas cheer, while accepting donations for local charities in the area.

Tonight is the last night to see Father Christmas in Hesketh Bank – with people urged to give a wave and say hello to Santa as he passes.

Southport Hesketh Rond Table member Ryan Lewis said: “We really want the people of Southport to know that all the money we raise – stays in Southport!

“It’s used to help lots of different charities and organisations in Southport.

“We also want people to come and find us if we’re not passing their road.

“If we don’t pass by your road, please make an adventure out of it and bring the children to ‘Find Santa’.”

Tonights Route – Thursday December 17

Start and finish. Booths, Station Road, Hesketh Bank

    6.30pm-8.30pm:

Station Road, into Sidney / Newarth Lane back onto Station Road, left into Chapel Road, all way up to Shore Road, along Shore Road and back down Station Road to Booths.
