Filter firm want to bring finer things of life to Southport

By On The Spot News9th September 2019

A special water filter firm in Southport are offering cafes and gyms in the town the chance to give their customers the best hydration possible.

Finerfilters have launched an initiative for local gyms, restaurants and cafes to sign up to receive a free water filter kit, to try to get the message across locally of how much of a difference filtered water makes compared to tap water.

Bosses at the firm hope to supply 10 different businesses in the area with a water filter kit for free to see if there is a positive impact on their customers, as well as to receive feedback from local residents which will hopefully in turn lead them to supporting the firm as a local business.

A spokesperson for Finerfilters said “we are trying to make a difference in Southport with improving water quality in places of hospitality and homes.

“I imagine there are 1000s of residents that are purchasing bottled water on a daily basis, not realising they have one of the UK’s most successful water filter businesses on their doorstep. Filtered water is better quality than bottled, more economical – working out to be only 0.0034p per litre on this particular kit and better for the environment as it reduces single use plastic waste”

“It is a no obligation deal, with the only cost coming to the business if they decide to replace the water filter after a 6 month period. If the kit is well received, then they can purchase a replacement filter for as little as £11.66 each for a 6 pack, or £13.79 for 1 filter and they get to keep the kit free of charge. Each filter has a life span of 6 months, so there is very little maintenance and running costs.
