Fight Against Animal Cruelty (FAACE) charity shop still going strong!

Hundreds of customers flock each week to the Fight Against Animal Cruelty (FAACE) charity shop in Shakespeare Street,  Southport.

Keen bargain-hunters form orderly queues about 30 minutes before the shop opens each day as customers search for bargains and support the charity at the same time.

The Shakespeare Street shop sells a range of items including good quality clothing, accessories, handbags, shoes, books, records, videos, DVDs, CDs and bric-a-brac and much more!. All profits go towards the foundation’s fight Against Animal Cruelty in Europe. The charity now marks its 25th anniversary!

Tony Moore, founder of Fight Against Animal Cruelty in Europe is encouraging people to take plastic bags to his shop so they can recycle them again and again.”

Mr Moore said: “While the big charities are in the position to produce their own shopping bags, the small local charities are not.
