Fear grows over potential cancellation of Southport Air Show

27th November 2019

There are fears Sefton Council can’t host this years Air show or fireworks.

Residents have contacted OTS News to raise fears that something suspicious is going on after a lack of dates lead to fears the events wouldn’t be going ahead.

The delay in setting the dates has led to fears in some quarters that the events might not be going ahead.

One person got in touch to say that he was perturbed that next year’s dates for major events in Sefton had not yet been released.

He said: “I find it very strange that Sefton Council are not releasing the dates yet. I want to book a few holidays for next year but don’t want to miss my favourite events. I can understand them not releas- ing detailed plans for 2020 yet as it is, after all, November 2019 – but surely just the dates is not too much to ask!”
