Fashion shop chased out of town by sky high rent

Another shop has fallen victim to the decline of the high street.

Chase Menswear which has moved around the town looking for a permanent home over the last few years has finally closed down with little hope for its resurrection.

The store had previously been set up in Marble Place and Chapel Street before the owners moved to London Street.

However a lack of passing trade and growing rent bills has seen the designer clothes shop seemingly shut for good
