David was a very kind and generous man. He worked extremely hard all of his life and he was a very successful business man, he was especially well known around the Liverpool area. People loved David’s humour and he had a particularly quirky personality.
David was a huge Everton fan and regularly attended Goodison Park to watch the games.
He was also a devoted father and for his three daughters nothing was too much. He also doted on his seven grandchildren and them, along with all of his family and friends will now have a significant void in their lives as a result of his untimely death.
Appeal after man dies following accident on M58
Police are appealing for information after a man was killed in a road accident on the M58 yesterday (Friday 26 December 2014).
At around 8.30pm, the driver aged 68 and from Aughton, was travelling along the M58 westbound in a black Mercedes saloon car when at around one mile from junction one, his vehicle has left the carriageway before travelling down an embankment, crashing through a wooden fence before rolling over and coming to rest on its wheels in a field. Sadly, the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
PS Mick Young from the Road Policing Unit said
“It is possible that this man may have suffered a medical episode at the wheel, however, we are appealing for anyone with any information about this incident to contact us so we can determined just how this tragic accident came to happen.”
