Family go into panic mode after accidentally locking baby in car

    By James Cave26th July 2020

A family on a day out in sunny Southport got the fright of their lives today after their baby became trapped in their locked car.

The family, from Manchester, were left in full-on panic mode after their car door closed with the keys, and more importantly their young baby, still inside.

The vehicle was parked in a car park at Ocean Plaza next to Southport Pier.

The car automatically locked and with a spare set over 30 miles away at home in Manchester, there was little that could be done.

Luckily local firm Stanleys Security Ltd were on hand to help and were on scene within ten minutes following a panicked call.

Engineers from the firm managed to swiftly unlock the car and rescue the baby, who was in perfectly good health and happily oblivious to the ordeal.
