Council officers have been slammed for not fixing an iconic and historic planter after it was destroyed by a car last week
OTS reported how a car crashed into the wall outside Farmfoods on Lord Street last week. However council workers have now been branded lazy by residents nearby who have called the council three times since asking them to fix the broken wall
The heavy concrete planter has been left in the gardens on Lord Street to suffer more damage during the bad weather
One resident said ‘I’ve lost track of the calls I’ve made to the council now I don’t want to look out of my window and see this. I pay council tax for things to be fixed so why isn’t it?”
