Emergency services attend small Southbank Road fire

Fire crews have dealt with a house fire near to the town centre this evening.

Emergency services were called to a minor fire which broke out at a home on Southbank Road, Southport shortly after 6pm this evening.

Two appliances rushed to the scene and extinguished the blaze quickly. Nobody is thought to have been injured in the incident and fire crews have since left the scene.
