Elderly female driver crashes into Sainbury’s wall 

Emergency services were called to Hill Street, Southport shortly after 3.45pm this afternoon, Monday 28 November 2o16.

Witnesses told our reporter that the elderly female driver hit the accelerator whilst exiting Castle Street and crashed head on into the Sainsbury’s car park wall.

Fortunately no one else was injured in the accident.

The elderly female driver has been taken to hospital.
