A traffic warden has divided the Internet after ticketing a car parked next to an out of order ticket machine.
A motorist parking on Eastbank Street today hoped he had managed to avoid a fine after finding the ticket machine was out of order.
However when he returned to his car he was shocked to find he had a parking fine slapped on the windscreen.
The angry driver confronted a nearby warden who told him there were plenty of other working machines close by on the same road and he should have used them instead.
The warden has now divided the Internet into a furious debate into who is at fault, with some saying the driver should be let off while others say he should have looked for another machine.
