Duke Street closed after George smash

Police have closed off part of Duke Street near to the George Pub after a collision this evening.

Fire crews and paramedics were called to the junction of Duke Street and Cemetery Road shortly after 6pm tonight after two cars collided.

Motorists are asked to take alternate routes through the area while the scene is cleared.

A road closure is expected to be in place for around two hours.
