Sunbathing and frolicking layabouts have been slammed for putting lives at risk this afternoon, Monday 6 April.

A group of intoxicated adults have infuriated passers by after wrestling and play fighting on Lord Street near to the war memorial.

The group, according to a bus passenger, were ‘clearly intoxicated or under the influence, the bald hearded man even kicked a passing car. They were also asking anyone else nearby for money despite warnings to stay inside.

COVID – 19

The Coronavirus situation is a national emergency. It is vital that residents help reduce the spread of the virus by continuing to follow the government instructions to stay at home, to only make essential journeys and keeping dog walking and exercise local to your home address. Yesterday it was noticeable that more people were on the streets than earlier in the week. We are all in this situation together. Please help us to keep the virus down by sticking to these instructions.
