Driver was rushed to hospital after falling ill at the wheel on Liverpool Road Southport
A motorist was taken to hospital after falling ill at the wheel on Liverpool, Ainsdale, Southport this evening, Monday 16 May 2016
Emergency services were called to a ‘medical incident’ on Liverpool at around 6pm.
A witness reported: “A man experienced a temporary medical condition – the Jeep was pulled over at the roadside.
The unwell driver had to wait for around forty minutes for paramedics to arrive”
An ambulance eventually arrived and treated the man at the scene before transferring him to hospital.”
