A homeowner in Birkdale who was out celebrating for Valentines night came home to find her front garden destroyed.
An unknown driver lost control of their vehicle and completely destroyed the front garden wall of a property on Kew Road in Southport some time between 6pm and 10pm last night before fleeing the scene.
Police are optimistic of funding the culprit and are asking local mechanics to report anyone who checks in with severe damage to their car’s front end.
As yet however there are no solid leads and officers are asking anyone who may have heard or seen anything suspicious in the Kew Road area last night to call 101 immediately
