Driver airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after Three car crash on Coastal Road
Emergency services were to the Coastal Road(Ainsdale) this afternoon shortly after 2:45pm, Monday 2 May 2016.
Three cars collided appoaching the Liverpool Road traffic lights of the Coastal road.
Paramedics treated the injured at the scene and it was reported that an occupant of one of the vehicles was air lifted to hospital due to neck/back injuries sustained in the collision.
Traffic built up way past Pinfold Lane whilst police diverted traffic around the scene.
