Don’t forget the birds this winter

26th December 2020

With the arrival of lower temperatures, along with the potential for snow and heavy winds, the birds can have difficulty finding food. In the harsh winter months, extra sustenance that people can provide is helpful for bird survival. This is because natural food sources like berries get hidden under snow and ice. Moreover, nutritious insects become hard for the birds to find.
