Police called to the Salvation Army on Shakespeare Street at around 11:12 am this morning (Thursday 25th June 2015).

The police were called to the Salvation Army when a member of the public ran into the premiss, over to the donations box and managed to pull it of the small chain that was keeping the donation box on the desk. It is not know how much money there was in the box but police sated this a growing problem as it is so easy to break the chain holding the box. The police are still looking for suspects.
