Dog walkers lead astray by confusing warning signs

Dog walkers in Southport say they are being lead astray by baffling new rules around the Marine Lake.

Furious dog owners have said they are deliberately being caught out by confusing and baffling new rules which make no sense.

One walker said: “responsible owners are being baffled by the rules regarding off lead walking at the south end of the marine lake. According to new illustrated boards it says off lead walking is allowed all around the lake but some owners are being told by dog wardens its a no.

“can we have clear indication where this is allowed Sefton?”
