Dog days are over for stray pooches after rescue deal agreed

A deal has been struck to save stray dogs in Southport. The council have extended a deal with Animal Wardens Ltd called the Stray Dog Kennelling and Out of Hours Collection Service. This arrangement was due to end in May, but has been extended for a further five years.
