Come and enjoy summer on the Sefton coast – the Ainsdale Discovery Centre is now open to the public every Thursday from 11am-3pm during the school holidays.

There are activities for youngsters, and helpful experts on hand if you have a query about the wildlife or history of this spectacular coastline.

The Discovery Centre is in the dunes behind Ainsdale beach, at the end of The Promenade, Ainsdale (PR8 2QB).

Staff from Sefton Coast Landscape Partnership are on hand every Thursday, so if you’re passing, want to learn more about the coast or fancy a bit of arts and crafts for the youngsters, please call in between 11am and 3pm any Thursday between now and September 1.

Sefton Coast Landscape Partnership promotes the natural and cultural heritage of the Sefton coast and is embedded within Sefton Council’s coast and countryside team. For more information, please call 0151 934 2964 or email landscape.partnership@sefton.gov.uk
