Denise Welch and husband Lincoln Townley make special trip to Southport

    By 2nd February 2016

TV celebrity Denise Welch has made a special trip to Southport to visit Yaffé Photography.  It’s not her first time either. Denise and her family have chosen Yaffé a number of times for their family portraits as well as publicity shots over the years.  This occasion was to achieve new images for her forthcoming book launch, her new novel, “If They Could See Me Now” due out soon.

Adam Yaffé, from Yaffé Photography said, “It’s always a pleasure to welcome Denise to our studios. She’s absolutely wonderful in front of the lens, a proper performer!  I first met Denise whilst supporting her charity work and soon began photographing her family as well.  Many people may not know that her eldest son is Matt Healy from alternative rock band ‘The 1975’, who have become extremely successful in their own right. They’re currently touring internationally”

denOn the subject of the images created this week, Adam comments, “Denise wanted a slightly different look to go with her new role as an author.  Whilst she had already written a best selling autobiography, this is her first endeavour as an author of a fictional novel.  The session lasted a few hours which included a number of clothing changes.  Her husband Lincoln came with, we also did some PR shots of him for his own career as a celebrity painter.  His work is becoming so successful across the world, he’s even starting to outshine Denise! The end result is a fabulous collection of images.”

We spoke with Denise who is more than satisfied with the pictures. She told us, “Whilst I’ve been photographed too many times to remember, when I need the most professional images, I would always choose Adam and his team at Yaffe.  It’s a safe and private environment where I can relax with the knowledge I’m not going to be disappointed. Adam is able to work quickly and produce the exact images I need with no fuss. We go back a long way so we always have a good gossip and a laugh which helps produce great, relaxed pictures.”
