A members of the public has reported debris falling from one of the disused buildings along Scarisbrick Avenue, Southport, Monday 13 June 2016.

A visitor to the town told OTSNews.co.uk: “Myself, wife and child in his push chair was walking back towards the town centre from Kings Gardens when slate fell from above narrowly missing my child. We couldn’t believe what had happened.

“We reported it to a local shop keeper who explained it was a regular occurrence, I just want warn others to be walking down Scarisbrick Avenue.”
