Damien Moore MP visits RSPCA Southport

Damien Moore MP was delighted to visit the local RSPCA branch in Southport on Friday 9th March to meet the fantastic team and learn more about their vital work.

During a tour of the branch, which includes a private veterinary practice, Damien saw just how much care and attention the dedicated team gives to every animal.

Speaking about his visit Damien said:

“It was great to pay a visit to the team and I would like to thank them for having me. It was an eye-opener to see first hand the brilliant work that is being done in Southport to support and rehome the animals, and to see the dedication of the team.

The branch relies upon the support of local residents to perform their work. I would urge everybody to help in whatever way they can; be that making a donation, volunteering some of their time, fundraising, using the RSPCA online shop, or rehoming an animal from the branch rather than buying one from a breeder.”
