A member of the public reported that a man had been knocked off his bike a along Marshside Road shortly after 5.30pm this evening, Thursday January 4 2016.
A Paramedic response team was first to arrive on the scene. The cyclist who was not wearing a helmet was bandaged up before an ambulance arrived.
A full report will follow when Merseyside Police have logged the incident.
